Synthesis was my Shepard's one selfish choice. She could have chosen control and, in her opinion, made the ultimate sacrifice because she would never truly die. She would live on as long as the Reapers lived on. And while she would have been happy to watch over the galaxy, she never would have been able to join Thane in the afterlife.

So synthesis it was. Save the galaxy and go on home to her one love.

I still love the destroy version, because that was the first version my Margurite would have chosen (before EC, now it's refusal), but this one is still really good. I love the texture of the Earth in the corner, and the feel of the waves.

And, well, Thane. Cause, you know, Thane.
